Ritsumeikan Moriyama Junior & Senior High School is a part of the Ritsumeikan Trust, and therefore offers attractive learning experiences in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University and other schools in the Ritsumeikan family.
ISometimes we invite international students studying at Ritsumeikan University to our classes on international understanding, and social science as teaching assistants. Our students enjoy these opportunities to hear about different perspectives from the international students, have discussions with them, and receive feedback on their presentation.
In some of the 12th grade courses, students can go to lectures given by university instructors of Ritsumeikan University. They experience university education before entering university and the chance explore the fields of their interest.
Students have opportunities to take part in special programs for connected Ritsumeikan schools. Junior high school students can join the summer English immersion camp, and senior high school students can join a variety of programs including the Rits Super Global Forum and Model United Nations where they collaborate with high school students from different countries and have discussions and presentations together.
Club Activities, student council, social contribution, and other extracurricular activities are all important opportunities for student growth. We provide a lot of activities to suit a variety of students’ interests and expertise. Many international students have also participated in these activities.
